We are two friendly preschools based in the Shephall and Great Ashby areas of Stevenage, both run by teams of qualified and experienced staff who offer a wide range of activities for children between the ages of 2 and 4 years.  Both settings are very proud to have achieved Silver Hertfordshire Early Years Quality Standards Awards in July 2022, and Shephall the Gold award in July 2023.

Shephall

Bunnies Preschool (Shephall) is situated in Featherstone Wood School where we have our own classroom with a secure outside play area that is exclusively for our use; we also have use of the school's outside facilities, wooden play equipment, large play ground and school field (weather permitting!). We are judged by Ofsted to be a good provider of preschool education and our most recent inspection was in May 2024. 

Our morning sessions run from 9.00am until 12.00 noon and afternoon sessions run from 12 noon until 3pm.  Our morning children are also welcome to stay for lunch clubs until 1 or 2 pm.

Opening hours: Monday - Friday 9 - 3 term time only.

Great Ashby

Bunnies Preschool (Great Ashby) is situated in Great Ashby Community Centre where we run from the main hall with our own secure outside area.  We are judged by Ofsted to be a good provider of preschool education and our most recent inspection was in September 2024. Our morning sessions run from 9am to 12 noon daily and we have afternoon sessions from 12 noon to 3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  We also have a range of lunch clubs sessions available accross the week.  Please contact us for more information. 

Opening hours Monday to Thursday, 9 - 3;  Fridays, 9 - 1; term time only.

All children are entitled to 15 hours FREE preschool education the term after they turn three.  Working parents  of children aged 3 and 4 may be entitled to claim 30 hours per week, subject to conditions.  Funded places for 2 year olds are also available, subject to conditions.
